I love books; I love to read; I love to share the excellent parts of books that I have read.
When I read a book and come across a passage that is exceptional, I want to share it with everyone else.
This blog is for myself, a diary of passages that I have been fortunate enough to read.
However, somewhat along the vein of Bill Bennett’s Readings, Treasury, collections, I would like to put the words of wisdom, interest, thoughts that I have collected in this blog into print.
My goal is to reach the people who would read and discover the works of these worthy authors in a digest form, condensed for them, conveniently grouped in one place; the people who would miss out on these gems if left to discover them for themselves among the words of a complete book; the people without the inclination or time to sift through these books but who would benefit greatly from reading these words.
